Redneck Regatta and Pool Party 2024

The Redneck Regatta and Pool Party is coming up on Saturday, August 3rd!!  As always, feel free to join us for the regatta, the pool party or both!!

If you are coming for the Regatta, please meet us at 8:30 am at Foote Brothers Canoe & Kayak Rental, 230 Topsfield Road, Ipswich.  At that time we will check-in, sign the release form, collect the rented equipment, then take their 9 am shuttle to Salem Road in Topsfield.  We will travel the river back toward Foote Brothers, breaking halfway through for lunch.   **Be sure to pack yourself a lunch and plenty of water (a watertight cooler is strongly suggested)**  

This trip is typically about four (4) hours, plus the time we stop for lunch.  After our trip down river we will pack it all up then head back to our house (18 Hardy Street, Danvers) for a pool party.

If you need to rent a canoe or kayak please call to reserve them ahead of time for the Salem Road run (footebrotherscanoes.com). We don't know how busy they have been so you may want to call as soon as you can.  Reservations require a deposit of $10 Per Canoe/Kayak

If you are bringing your own watercraft, there is a portage fee for the shuttle.

Anyone that does not want to come kayaking/canoeing please join us at the house any time after 3:30 to relax by the pool and have pizza and salad (taking the easy way out this year).  If it looks like we will be coming back early due to conditions on the river I will post updates on Facebook or send out text messages.

Due to low river conditions there is a possibility we may have to cancel the river trip at the last minute, but let's hope we don't have to do that!  Regardless, the pool party will still happen! 

In your reply, please let us know if you will be meeting us for the river trip or if you will only be joining us for the pool party.

We know the Regatta may not float everyone's boat, but we hope to see you either on the river or back at the house!
